As far as signs of an apocalypse go, seeing two suns sitting next to each other in the sky has got to be up there -- which is why when this image came out of China last week, we were more than mildly unnerved.
However, the sun has not spontaneously split in two, and science has a much more logical explanation than the impending end of the world.
