Transparency Which Countries Have the Most Vacation Graphic

Did you take a vacation this summer? If you did, it was because your company generously allowed you a few paid vacation days.

Unlike businesses in these other countries (all members of the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development), U.S. companies are not required to give employees time off. Despite working some of the longest hours in the world, we take very little vacation. No wonder you're feeling burnt out.

Blagojevich Scandal Did Barack Obama Tell Thruth

The Balanoff disclosures stop short of incriminating Obama in Blagojevich's allegedly criminal scheme.

But they shed new doubt both on President Obama's declared commitment to transparency and the credibility of the staff account of his role in the Blagojevich matter.

Bill To Ban Members Of Congress From Becoming Lobbyists

A long-shot proposal to ban former members of Congress from K Street for life won a cosponsor on Monday in Montana Democrat Sen.

Jon Tester.
"From an ethics standpoint it's the right thing to do," said Tester in an interview with HuffPost. "From a transparency standpoint it's the right thing to do."
