Samsung Still Going Strong With Original Galaxy Tab Ads Despite Verizon iPad 2 Launch Today

Samsung may have slightly cowered at the launch of the iPad 2, but thats not going to stop them � a day before the Apple-bred tablet is available from Verizon, theyve posted a brand new advertisement for their original Samsung Galaxy Tab on YouTube. (Which we imagine could find its way to airwaves soon.)

Google Begins Emailing Extension Developers To Get Ready For Chrome Web Store

Earlier today, we were tipped about this thread in the Chromium Google Groups area.

Gregor Hochmuth, the Product Manager for the Chrome Web Store, responded to a question wondering if Google would be giving developers advanced notice before the store goes live. Hochmuth said that yes, there would be reminders sent out before the launch to let developers get edits and updates in before it rolls live. Well, the first such message was sent out today

Googles Rumored Facebook Competitor Delayed Reports Say

A social network project that tech giant Google is rumored to be working on is experiencing delays that have pushed back the launch until spring 2011, tech blog Mashable reported Tuesday.

Mozilla counters Chrome with Open Web Apps

With the official launch of Google's Chrome Web Store fast approaching, Mozilla today unveiled what they're calling 'Open Web Apps'.

Basically, this takes the idea behind Chrome's Web Store and makes it available for all desktop and mobile 'modern browsers'.
