Charity projects make for happier workers

At a time when many charities are feeling the economy's squeeze, corporations are donning "good citizen" hats and performing pro bono projects that will have a lasting impact, experts said.

And a side benefit: Corporate employees participating in the pro bono work generally come away feeling better about their jobs and employers.

Just who is antijobs

Republicans have continued their disingenuous attack on President Barack Obama, blaming him for the economic recession, in hopes of attracting votes this fall.

House Minority Leader John Boehners office has spearheaded the effort, last week calling Obama anti-jobs� and anti-business� even though those charges are patently false.

Want to Stop Global Warming Keep Out the Immigrants

You've likely heard a pretty diverse range of arguments from advocates of Arizona's draconian anti-illegal immigration law, and of cracking down on immigration in general: immigrants are stealing American jobs, unduly siphoning off taxpayer money, causing crime rates to rise, and other, even more xenophobic claims.
