A Map Of Wireless Dead Zones In San Francisco Every Single One Is ATT

The San Francisco Business Times recently began a project to document wireless dead zones in the Bay Area.

Its a good idea; they have a simple form any user can fill out to give the address of the dead zone, explain it a bit if they choose, and name their service provider. So far, theyve accumulated quite a bit of data over 500 data points. The best part? As far as I can tell, every single one of the dead zones is on AT&Ts network.

Gulf Dead Zone Could Reach Size of New Jersey

The Gulf of Mexico's dead zone - an underwater area with little or no oxygen that has plagued Gulf waters for many years - will be larger than usual this year, scientists say.

Scientists are predicting that the area of this dead zone could measure between 6,500 and 7,800 square miles, or an area roughly the size of New Jersey.
